Iris Ceramica Group, a world leader in the production of high-tech, high quality porcelain and ceramic, has taken part in the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone Milan 2018, with initiatives that combined international architecture with the presentation of product innovations.

At the 57th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the Iris Ceramica Group presented events dedicated to international architecture, site-specific installations and group exhibitions in a variety of ways. The products exhibited in the group’s stand were complemented by the products in the stands of partner companies, an initiative that highlighted the versatility, flexibility and aesthetic quality of the group’s materials,as a world leader in the production of high-tech, high quality porcelain and ceramic.

At the Salone Internazionale del Bagno, an exhibition of bathroom products that is part of the Salone del Mobile, the group’s collective stand D33-D35 in Pavilion 22 showcased new products by its leading brands Iris Ceramica, Fiandre Architectural Surfaces,FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, Ariostea and SapienStone.
The display WELLNESS, SALUS PER AQUAM was created by the Archilineaarchitecture studio. The 200 m2 stand on two levels contained all the spaces dedicated to personal care and wellbeing. The display highlighted not only the features of ceramics for floors and walls by theIris Ceramica Group but also innovative accessories for bathrooms and wellness areas.
One example is the collection of customisable washbasins and shower trays named Aqua Maximum by Fiandre Architectural Surfaces, artisan products that can be combined with the Maximum Fiandre Extralitecollection of surfaces for a total look.
The washbasins and shower trays in the collection are unique items, with a high density, rigid, waterproof structure covered with MAXIMUM® Fiandre Extralitesurfaces, with all the aesthetic and technical qualities typical of Iris Ceramica Group porcelain, like resistance to scratches, no colour fade or surface wear over time and easy maintenance.

In the group stand, the leading brands from theIris Ceramica Group presented collections linked to various materials and inspirations. Wood and its petrification and transformation into a fossil is seen in theEMINENT WOOD collection byFiandre Architectural Surface created with MAXIMUM® Fiandre Extralite technology. The charm of old stone was evoked by MaxFine high-tech ceramic slabs by FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, with new products in the MaxFine Onici collection and a new Veined White texture in the MaxFine Marmi range, and by the Ultra Marmi of Ariostea, featuring Nero Marquinia, a reinterpretation of the famous Spanish stone, where fine white veining stands out against a deep black background.
Another product inspired by this famous Spanish marble is Dark Marquina the new colour by SapienStone, the Iris Ceramica Group brand dedicated to high quality kitchen countertops that was also present at the Salone in Eurocucina, at the Stosa Cucine stand with two SapienStone countertops in Pietra Grey and Calacatta Statuario colours.

This overview of materials interpreted by the high-end, high-tech ceramic and porcelain surfaces by Iris Ceramica Groupends with the metropolitan, post-industrial feel byIris Ceramica, which presented Steelway, a collection that adds copper and other metal alloy textures to the range of Hi-Lite maxi slabs.
At the same time, new product ranges were presented for the partnership with international lifestyle brand Diesel Living, headed by Andrea Rosso, which involves not only Iris Ceramica, but also other prestigious brands likeFoscarini, Moroso, Scavolini, Seletti, Berti and Mirabello Carrara. At the “Out of This World Hotel” stand by Diesel Living (Pav.16 Stand A35/B2) and Fuorisalone at Pop Up Home, in via Cesare Correnti 14, in Milan’s 5vie district, the new Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica collection was presented. This has five product ranges: Glass Blocks, Synthetic Tape, Synthetic Studs, Metal Perf and Cement Mexican, inspired by Mexico, a land of bright colours, full of culture and tradition, where various styles interweave and blend.
