PARK Associati planned the renovation of a building constructed in the early '80s in Milan’s Bicocca district, transforming it into a contemporary property by entirely redesigning the building and remodelling its volumes.

Painter, designer and philosopher Tomás Maldonado died on 26 November. Argentinian by birth, he taught all over the world and chose Italy to be his new homeland, for both professional and sentimental reasons. His partner Inge Feltrinelli also died recently.
Triennale di Milano hosts two exhibitions addressing the theme of reconstruction. “Ricostruzioni. Architettura, città e paesaggio nell’epoca delle distruzioni” (“Reconstruction: Architecture, city and landscape in the age of destruction”) opened on November 30 , while “re/build in the built environment” opens on December 14 looking at the relationship between architecture and the built environment.
Milan’s Humanitas University Campus, an institution for the study of medicine and surgery, nursing and physiotherapy, has been completed. The Mario Luzzatto Student House residences are designed in the style of the other buildings on the campus, by architect Filippo Taidelli of FTA.
