Gio Ponti and the 1920s: the ‘ceramic’ debut of a genius
In 1923, a young Ponti was tasked with kickstarting the Richard-Ginori ceramics and porcelain factory. In the space of just a few years, the architect changed the course of the company and gave Italian-made ceramics a whole new direction. The winners of the International Art Prize dedicated to Ceramics
"Geometrical Isometric Pattern in Yellow, Red and Blue, Moresque Style With Dashed Stripes and Spheres" by Eloisa Gobbo and "Clouds" by Daniele Donadio are the two winning works of the first edition of the International Art Prize dedicated to Ceramics, promoted by the Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group to celebrate the ceramic material and its connections with art, design and architecture.

Shaping the Future Iris Ceramica Group at Cersaie

From September 26 to 30 in Bologna, the trade fair district will host the 2022 edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings.
