The 2015 Next Landmark international contest is in its fourth year The Next Landmark international contest is open to all architects, engineers, landscape architects, urban planners, photographers and interior designers. The contest promoted by the Floornature.com portal is now in its fourth year and is organised in collaboration with the Masters course of Integrated Communication and Design (MSTC) at IUSVE (Salesian Pontifical University of Venice) and the Estonian Academy of Arts - Faculty of Architecture.

The fourth Next Landmark contest continues with its tried and tested online formula, structured in three sections: Next Landmark of the year, open to all design professionals of any age who can submit their projects for contemporary living built after 1 January 2010; Research, for unbuilt projects for urban redevelopment, ideal buildings, dissertations and theoretical reflection on contemporary living; Photography open to all designers, architecture photographers and students enrolled in an Architecture, Design and/or Engineering degree, competing for the most creative and original photographic interpretation of the new urban Landmarks.

In addition to the long-standing collaboration with the Masters course of Integrated Communication and Design (MSTC) at IUSVE, a new international partnership is being inaugurated with the Faculty of Architecture of the Estonian Academy of Arts at Tallinn University, Estonia given that Floornature is also a media partner of the 2015 Tallinn Architecture Biennale.

In the year of EXPO Milano 2015, Next Landmark is offering the winners of each section a trip to Milan, including accommodation, to participate in the exhibition event of the winning projects, being held at SpazioFMG per l’architettura. The event will be inaugurated on 6 October 2015.  It is supported by the Floornature.com architecture portal - Contest organiser and curator - and Livegreenblog.
The deadline for submissions is 12 September, so prospective participants need to get moving to register on the Next Landmark site and upload their completed projects, theoretical reflections or photos.
