Light and alabaster on show in Volterra
The Arnioni installation in Piazza dei Priori, the central square of Volterra, Tuscany, famous all over the world for its alabaster, is the end result of a masterly union between the stone that made the city’s fortune and light. So, the city has ushered in this Christmas season with alabaster and the opening of VOLTERRA/LUMINA, launching a series of initiatives to symbolise rebirth and creativity as part of the city’s candidacy as Italian Capital of Culture 2022.

Crafts NOW: 2nd edition, this time online
Crafts NOW, the conference on crafts organized as part of the fourteenth edition of Barcelona Design Week, will be presented online this year. The use of plastics will be discussed on 18 November 2020, and the intention is to initiate discussion on innovation around this controversial material.

Magenta Moon - Discover digital innovations! This is the tagline that Deutsche Telekom is using to invite visitors to the Magenta Moon Campus Berlin. Lighting artist Leigh Sachwitz and her team from flora&faunavisions have transformed unused business premises into a physical place to experience digitisation - an experience that is, of course, also possible remotely via the web.

The second edition of SPAM, the Rome architecture festival is running from 9 to 16 October 2020. The event is organized by the Rome association of architects.
