Festival des Architectures Vives 2022, Impermanence
The Festival des Architectures Vives in Montpellier, one of the highlights for lovers of ephemeral urban installations that have enlivened the French city and its rich architectural heritage since 2006, was dedicated to impermanence. The 16th edition took place under the banner of the awareness that everything is unstable and nothing immutable.

2022 Architecture Drawing Prize: 5 more weeks to enter
The Architecture Drawing Prize was launched in 2017 by Make Architects, Sir John Soane's Museum and the World Architecture Festival. The prize, sponsored by the Iris Ceramica Group this year with Floornature as European media partner, was established to celebrate architectural design; the deadline for submissions is 9 September 2022.

Kimmel Eshkolot Architects at the Tower of David Museum
Israeli studio Kimmel Eshkolot Architects presents its work on creation of National Memorial Hall on Mount Herzl (2018) in the new exhibition "Designing Memory" which opened a few weeks ago at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem. The exhibition also features the work of the finalists for the Dedalo Minosse International Prize, offering a broad overview of important architectural projects by studios all over the world.

Floornature with the LAND studio for the Milan Design Week
From June 6 to 12, Floornature will take part in the Milan Design Week 2022. In addition to the events to be held at the Iris Ceramica Group showroom, Floornature, as media partner of the LAND landscape studio, will also follow a focus on the major transformation that the city of Milan has been undergoing. Floornature will stream the talks centred on "meanwhile uses", theme dedicated to the temporary use of the urban context, with speakers including Andreas Kipar, Stefano Minini, Ico Migliore, Mara Servetto and representatives from the studios MCA, Foster+Partners and Park Associati.

NEXT500 pavilion: MVRDV for the Fuggerei in Augsburg
To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Fuggerei in Augsburg, Germany, the world’s oldest social housing complex, studio MVRDV has designed a CLT pavilion based on the dictates of the circular economy. Inside is an exhibition about what goes on at the Fuggerei and a vision for its future, also curated by MVRDV, suggesting three proposals for helping people in need live dignified, self-determined lives.

2022 Art Biennale and representations of urban space
The 59th International Art Exhibition at Biennale di Venezia has opened. Curated by Cecilia Alemani, the exibition entitled “The milk of dreams” was conceived and organised at a time of great instability and uncertainty due to the pandemic and even reacts to the latest geopolitical developments with Piazza Ucraina.
