Dutch artist, Daan Roosegaarde’s latest artwork called GROW pays tribute to the beauty and importance of agriculture. Art that scientifically uses light to achieve two goals curbing the use of pesticides and raising awareness about crop growing, something so many of us are unaware of.

2021 Architecture Biennale, the Nordic Pavilion as experimental cohousing
After the 17th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale was postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic, participants are now starting to share a few more details. The Nordic Pavilion, curated by the National Museum of Norway with architects Helen & Hard will respond to this year’s theme of “How will we live together?” with the exhibition “What We Share. A model for cohousing”.

Light and alabaster on show in Volterra
The Arnioni installation in Piazza dei Priori, the central square of Volterra, Tuscany, famous all over the world for its alabaster, is the end result of a masterly union between the stone that made the city’s fortune and light. So, the city has ushered in this Christmas season with alabaster and the opening of VOLTERRA/LUMINA, launching a series of initiatives to symbolise rebirth and creativity as part of the city’s candidacy as Italian Capital of Culture 2022.
