- The return of genesis, architecture lectures in Pisa
The second cycle of international lectures in Pisa is starting on 3 March 2017. It's called genesis, and it is an initiative of a scientific committee formed by students and teachers from the Architecture Engineering course of the Engineering School - University of Pisa.
The first guest to share their experience in the genesis architecture projects is Sou Fujimoto. The Japanese architect whose works reflect the integration between natural and architectural elements, which is also clear in the cultural project, Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in Kensington Gardens, London (2013). he will be responding to the conference's opening words: Genesis. What is it exactly? Is it pure inspiration, analysis, or the outcome of a precise creative process?
Sou Fujimoto, whose architecture is positioned between nature and human artifice, proposing a new definition of space that responds to changing times will be lecturing on 3 March 2017. 21 April will be the date for studio TAMassociati, known to our readers for their work in the social sphere (link), and Spanish architect Elisa Valero Ramos (link) will give the final lecture on 12 May 2017.
All the lectures are open to the general public and are worth two university credits.
