The new Bee'ah headquarters in Sharjah, UAE, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, concretely represent the company’s mission. Committed to providing consistent, sustainable environmental solutions, the company commissioned architect Zaha Hadid to construct a building that would minimise use of resources and compensate for consumption of resources through use of renewable systems.

Zaha Hadid’s project recalls the shape of sand dunes in the desert, fitting into its natural setting like a series of intersecting dunes in the direction of the Shamal wind. The two middle dunes, inside the complex, contain public functions (entrance, visitor centre, auditorium, gallery) and administrative offices). The central courtyard linking them is like an oasis inside the building, improving natural ventilation and maximising indirect sunlight indoors.
