Efficiency Lab for Architecture designs Telluride Glass House
Aybars Asci, president of Efficiency Lab for Architecture, an American studio that recently completed the construction of the Telluride Glass House, located in the scenic Telluride Box Canyon in Colorado, has a rather fitting mantra: "Efficiency is beautiful". The structure is extremely simple, consisting of three juxtaposed glass volumes. The construction took just a few weeks, but the project was years in the making. As architect Aybars Asci always says, "sometimes complexity is the path to achieving such levels of simplicity".

Faulkner Architects Lookout House, a minimalist house in Sierra Nevada
In Truckee, California, Faulkner Architects have designed the Lookout House, a minimalist concrete house built on the slopes of an extinct volcano. CCL Concept Lighting Lab contributed to the interior and lighting design. The architectural solutions and materials chosen by the architects pay homage to the area and to the landscape, shaped over time by volcanic activity, with elements such as the orange-red coloured glass that frames the large central opening, evoking the incandescent magma, and flooding the rooms with a warm reddish light.

Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura Ananda House - a house for yoga
In Eldorado do Sul, in Brazil, the Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura studio has designed a house - studio with a bright space set aside for yoga lessons and meditation. The very name “Ananda” is a Sanskrit word that means supreme bliss and refers to a very well-known Yoga style. The slanted columns, reminiscent of natural tree trunks, and the large opening in the terrace on the first floor, through which a real tree grows, symbolize the pursuit of a connection between home and the harmony of nature that ultimately leads to supreme bliss.
