MSO – PLAY/PAUSE by Jean Verville combines theatre with residential architecture
Jean Verville is a Canadian architect whose latest work, "MSO – PLAY/PAUSE", is a study of the intersection of architecture, theatre and playfulness, creating a hybrid work in which the residence is combined with the stage set, using construction lines, lighting, colours and shadows to "free spaces of their reality". The entire project, in sober, austere style, is documented in a theatrical/photographic performance by the owners, actors Mani Soleymanlou and Sophie Cadieux, with the architect and with photographer Félix Michaud.

American architectural studio SDH designed Bay Tropical Residence, a luxurious villa on two levels in Miami. The building in modern geometric style is located in Bay Harbor Islands, a strategic location close to the sea but connected with the city. The home perfectly reflects high-end American residential standards, with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms in more than 640 square metres of floor space, but the mild Florida climate permits significant savings on ventilation and heating.

Mork-Ulnes Architects Skigard Hytte living amid nature in Norway
Skigard Hytte is a mountain cabin in the ski resort of Kvitfjell, Norway. Surrounded by the silence of nature and by wild plants, perched on a spur in the land with panoramic views over the valley and the river below, the cabin was designed by architects Casper and Lexie Mork-Ulnes, founders of the studio that bears their names, as a refuge for their family. The cabin has won numerous international awards and is featured in a short film directed by Filmatica / Juan Benavides.

Profoundly convinced of the wellness that can be induced by the natural environment and ecologically conscious living, the clients asked the architect to design homes that make the most of the natural environment to offer new living experiences. The Courtyard House in Nosara is one of the projects in this residential development where humans live in harmony with nature.
