Taliesyn’s Monsoon House

Indian architectural studio Taliesyn built Monsoon House in Kerala, a luxurious, generously sized single-family home: 3500 square metres on two levels, with a total of four double bedrooms. The project strives to achieve cleanliness of form, with a great variety of materials, patterns and furnishings creating an air of elegant opulence. The home’s large size permits inclusion of a number of spaces and services, including an indoor pool, a gym, a home theatre, two lifts, a dance floor, a massage centre and a banqueting hall. The painstaking design, the resources used and the refined diversity that go into Taliesyn’s Monsoon House make it the dream home of any Indian household, though of course not everyone could afford it.
