ITALIANS DO IT BETTER #3: Italian architecture abroad

SPAZIOFMGPERLARCHITETTURA, Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s gallery, inaugurates its 2011 calendar of events with the exhibition ITALIANS DO IT BETTER #3, dedicated to quality Italian architectural projects abroad.



ITALIANS DO IT BETTER #3: Italian architecture abroad Luca Molinari and Simona Galateo selected 4 projects by Italian architects, “virtuous examples testifying to how Italian experience and creativity stands out in various fields of design abroad”. The 4 architectural projects are featured in the exhibition ITALIANS DO IT BETTER #3, opening the 2011 calendar of events at SPAZIOFMGPERLARCHITETTURA, Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s exhibition gallery. Pictures, films and models represent the selected projects: MOCAK, the “Schindler Factory” Contemporary Art Museum in Krakow, by Claudio Nardi Architects with Leonardo Maria Proli; the Headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior and State Police in Tbilisi, Georgia by Michele De Lucchi, Leopoldo Freyrie and Marco Pestalozza; The ARCo school built in the Palestinian occupied territories in East Jerusalem using recycled car tyres, and the elementary school built in an Afghan village by the studios 2A+P/A, Mario Cutuli Architetto, IaN+ and ma0/emmeazero. The exhibition opens on February 24 and continues until March 25 2011.
