SpazioFMGperl'Architettura, Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti’s gallery and showroom, presents the exhibition HACER CIUDAD México 2015 in collaboration with Academia Nacional de Arquitectura Capítulo Monterrey with the participation of Versitalia, Archdaily and Floornature June 11 through 17.
The exhibition includes a selection of 18 urban landscape projects created by members of the Academia Nacional de Arquitectura Capítulo Monterrey offering important inspiration for reflection on the discipline’s relevance today and on changes in the Mexican urban panorama, particularly in the Monterrey metropolitan area, where the projects were implemented.
The projects were selected by a special jury including a commission from ANAMTY (Academia Nacional de Arquitectura Capítulo Monterrey), representatives of the Floornature and Archdaily portals, SPAZIOFMG curator Luca Molinari and the management of Versitalia, the IRIS Group’s Mexican company.
The social and environmental dimension of the context in which the projects were implemented and the architect’s responsibility for designing places that promote socialisation and growth of the community are key elements of Mexican urban and architectural evolution revealed in the HACER CIUDAD México 2015 exhibition.
