Cino Zucchi will be curator of the Italian pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale

Architect Cino Zucchi will be the curator of the Italian pavilion at the 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice.



Cino Zucchi will be curator of the Italian pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale

On November 28 the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Ministry appointed architect Cino Zucchi to act as curator of the Italian Pavilion at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition, scheduled for June 7 through November 23, 2014 in Venice.
Cino Zucchi, professor of architectural and urban composition at Politecnico di Milano and visiting professor in Housing and Urbanization at GSD in Harvard, founded the architectural practice that bears his name (Cino Zucchi Architetti). His projects are characterised by a special focus on innovation and interpretation of context.

The studio’s most recent and best-known projects include: expansion of the National Automobile Museum in Turin, plans for Keski Pasila in Helsinki, reform of the former Junghans area in Venice, and the Salewa Headquarters in Bolzano (with Park Associati). Cino Zucchi produced the Copycat installation for the 13th Architecture Biennale in 2012.
