The 24th episode of The Architects Series, the exhibition format curated by The Plan magazine for Iris Ceramica Group, will be live streamed on 9 June at 6.30 p.m. from the Flagship Store of Iris Ceramica Group in Milan, during the Fuorisalone 2022 week. The focus of this new event is the studio Cino Zucchi Architetti. Following the consolidated format of the series, the public, previously registered on the digital platform of Iris Ceramica Group, will watch the screening of the video-documentary dedicated to the architecture studio. This is an important opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes and ongoing projects of this well-established Italian studio, which is always seeking new spatial solutions that can live in harmony with the delicate context of the European landscape.

Landscape and public space are two important design themes for the studio, and they typify the projects completed in recent years: Via Paride in Cerea, the Gratosoglio square in Milan, the park in San Donà di Piave, the pedestrian footbridge in Lugano.
The studio has solid experience in the various fields of design, in the residential sector, for example, with the projects ex-Junghans in Venice, Area Portello in Milan, Navile trilogy in Bologna, as well as in the tertiary and public sectors: the former Alfa canteen building in Milan, the U15 building in Assago, the new Salewa headquarters, concept design for Benetton, the extension of the Museo dell’Auto in Turin, the Resurrezione church in Sesto S. Giovanni, and the library in S. Donato Milanese.
For each case, the studio has devised a design approach that is respectful and attentive to the specifics of the intervention. Each project is, in fact, addressed as a unique challenge that stems from an in-depth discussion with the client and a profound knowledge of the site, to achieve the definition of an architecture that can implement a virtuous metamorphosis of the human and natural environments in which it is implemented.
In accordance with the format of The Architects Series, the screening of the video-documentary dedicated to the architecture studio will be followed by a lecture by architect Cino Zucchi, founder and director of the studio, entitled “Time and Architecture” or “The Campsite Shower Theory”.
