Symbiosis with nature, a green neighbourhood in Bangkok
Attention to the environment is the foundation of future urban development. Precisely for this reason within The Forestias, in Bangkok, one of the largest real estate development projects in Thailand, we find an urban forest covering 48,000 square metres of space. Here, the Forest Pavilion shows the future neighbourhood and will subsequently be converted into The Forestias Ecosystem Learning Centre for sharing knowledge of the forest ecosystem.

The first Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize
The American Cultural Landscape Foundation, or TCLF, has announced the first winner of the new biennial Oberlander Prize, named after the late landscape architect Cornelia Hahn Oberlander and bestowed on a recipient who is "exceptionally talented, creative, courageous, and visionary”. The first winner is Julie Bargmann.

Kärdla City Pavilion designed by the Bornstein Lyckefors Arkitekter and Mareld Landscape Studios
Swedish architecture firm Bornstein Lyckefors Arkitekter, together with Swedish landscape architects from the Mareld Landscape studio have recently renovated the central square of the town of Kärdla, in Estonia. The intervention is one of several projects launched to celebrate the centenary of the nation’s declaration of independence.

The international, multidisciplinary studio Crossboundaries has designed a vibrant open-air community park in Songzhuang. It all stems from the idea of a community of artists acting as an engine for change and progress, translated by the architects into an inclusive park.

DROPS installation designed by Cosimo Scotucci in Caorle, Italy
DROPS, installation designed by architect and artist Cosimo Scotucci and created as part of the Artist in Residence cultural programme promoted by the "Scogliera Viva - Sculpting the sea" association and the municipality of Caorle, in Veneto, is a land art intervention that enriches the city's coastline. A work that expertly combines glass art with technological progress, in a unique emotional experience.

Atelier YokYok designs Station Nuage in Saint Sébastien sur Loire
The French studio Atelier YokYok, whose work represents a synthesis between art and architecture, has created the project to convert an old stable into a new restaurant in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire. Located on the île Forget, the renovated building, characterised by a striking blue colour and an iconic white canopy, enriches the visitor experience in the town’s fluvial area.
