The Canadian firm Lemay is a leading provider of integrated design services for the built environment and has now worked its magic on the 1967 International and Universal Exposition or EXPO 67 site in Montreal, Canada. The design team has given the site original heart a total makeover as the new Espace 67, and their concept blends the enchanting natural setting and rich historic past of this exceptional site, to give the city a truly versatile space.

Ondřej Císler and Petr Tej, bridge over the Dřetovice stream
The footbridge over the Dřetovice stream in the Bohemian countryside of Kladno, not far from Prague, is the work of Ondřej Císler from Czech studio Aoc architects and Petr Tej from Klokner Institute at CTU in Prague. The light, ultra-high-strength concrete infrastructure connects the two sides of the stream and at the same time engages with the landscape and the sculpture by artist Jan Hendrych, making the whole thing a site-specific installation.

The design team from have Mutuus Studio transformed the Acid Accumulator from the defunct Georgia Pacific mill on Bellingham’s waterfront into a new art installation placed in the new Waypoint Park along Whatcom Waterway, funded by the City's One Percent for the Arts programme.
