Creating new relationships with context: a pedestrian bridge over the Thames

The Dukes Meadows Footbridge is a new pedestrian bridge in Chiswick, West London. The infrastructure designed by Moxon Architects with structural engineers COWI, located below the Barnes Bridge, a historic railway bridge, establishes a new urban relationship with a section of the Thames Path and improves safety, access and pedestrian flow.

External Reference presents Escaleras y Mirador Vela

"Escaleras y Mirador Vela" is a new project by Carmelo Zappulla’s architectural practice External Reference connecting Passeig del Mare Nostrum with Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents on the Barceloneta waterfront. The project presents an architectural façade accessible via a stairway and a raised waterfront promenade 9.30 metres above the ground.
