Buttercup, a coffee shop in Girona
Attractive interior design in an old building in downtown Girona. Buttercup is a spin-off of the Michelin-star restaurant “Les Magnòlies” and welcomes guests into interiors designed by Jordi Ginabreda + Anna Sabrià. The project is a winner in the interiors category of the 2020 COAC Girona Architecture Awards.

RAPPU, in Singapore’s lively Tanjong Pagar district, is the latest project by OWIU Studio. The venue is a new omakase sushi bar concept by The Feather Blade group. A project that rehabilitates the historic building and offers striking design worthy of the largest restaurant of its kind in Singapore.

Sentences after Conceptual Art, installation by Petr Dub
Czech artist, Petr Dub gives his own take on the famous Sentences on Conceptual Art by American artist, Sol LeWitt, published in 1969, in the space of a modernist church in Hradec Králové. His installation works on a range of visual layers. Also, it exploits architectural visualisation techniques to challenge the way we see and understand images.

Kirsten Schwalgien, award-winning interior in a historical setting in Barcelona
German interior designer Kirsten Schwalgien has transformed the ground floor of listed local gem Casa Burés—one of the best examples of Modernist architecture in Barcelona’s Eixample district and designed in 1905 by Francesc Berenguer—into a state-of-the-art residential loft. The LoftBuresQ project also won the German Design Award.

Past and future in the present, Vanke Nantou Gallery by Various Associates
The Chinese studio, Various Associates, has designed the interiors of a refurbishment project in the district of Nantou, Shenzhen, an exhibition gallery of urban memory. The venue tells the story of the past, present and future of the current transformation taking place in what used to be the heart of the Shenzhen metropolis.
