The Made in Italy architecture exhibition, Abu Dhabi
Architetture del Made in Italy - The Made in Italy architecture, curated by Luca Zevi and organised by IN/ARCH – Istituto Nazionale di Architettura, presented at the 13th International Architecture Show of the Venice Biennale in 2012, accompanied the Italian entrepreneurs’ mission in Abu Dhabi.
The exhibition tells the story of enterprises "made in Italy" through the architecture of industrial plants and office complexes.
Projects built by outstanding names on the Italian and international architecture scenes: Tadao Ando, Guido Canali, Mario Cucinella, Michele de Lucchi, Iotti e Pavarani, Carlo Scarpa, Paolo Soleri and Cino Zucchi, to mention only a few.
The works, which are presented divided into five sections (Factory Architecture, The Open Office, Agricultural Architecture, Reclamation and conversion for production, Densification), are projects built with a focus on the location and people’s lives, as well as sustainability and energy conservation.
