The team consisting of SRG Partnership with Behnisch Architekten designed the Karl Miller Center, new home of the School of Business at Portland State University (PSU) in Portland, Oregon. The building's sustainable combination of reclamation and new construction has earned it LEED Platinum certification.

Michael Green Architecture completes two new mass timber buildings

MGA Michael Green Architecture of Vancouver completed two new mass timber buildings for the College of Forestry at Oregon State University, in the United States. In line with the institution’s mission, both buildings are made of wood and designed in collaboration with a number of departments in the College.

Dominique Perrault Architecture Shenzhen Institute of Design and Innovation

The new campus of the Shenzhen Institute of Design and Innovation, one of the future locations of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), will be designed by Dominique Perrault Architecture + Zhubo Design Co. The project is part of the ambitious “Ten Cultural Facilities of New Era” programme that will give the Chinese metropolis ten new cultural buildings.

The Knight Cancer Research Building (KCRB) at Portland’s Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is a facility for cancer research. The new building designed by SRG Partnership encourages interdisciplinary research and is LEED Platinum certified.

Alvisi Kirimoto Camerino Academy of Music - Andrea Bocelli Foundation

Camerino Academy of Music opened in the fall of 2020 after only 150 days of construction work, a project promoted by the Andrea Bocelli Foundation as part of the reconstruction after the 2016 earthquake in the interior of central Italy. Alvisi Kirimoto completed the initial project by young architectural studio Harcome; the new project gives the structure a significant contemporary look, providing the town of Camerino with an academy of music with a bold architectural identity.

McGill University’s new power plant by Les architectes FABG

McGill University in Montreal, Canada needed a new building to house three 1.5 MW emergency generators to protect research work in the event of a blackout. Les architectes FABG built a construction combining historical research with architecture, engineering and landscaping, offering a sustainable response that goes beyond the building’s purely utilitarian purpose.

Chapuis Royer Architectes Diderot University Restaurant Grenoble Campus

Chapuis Royer Architectures designed Diderot University Restaurant for the institution’s Grenoble campus, home to a number of emblematic architectural projects dating back to the early 1960s which are now protected twentieth-century heritage sites. The new building fits into this context with the intention of enriching the area’s architectural vocabulary and reinforcing the dialogue between existing buildings on the site.
