Italian design takes centre stage in New York and China with Vudafieri-Saverino Partners
Italian firm Vudafieri-Saverino Partners recently completed two important projects. In China, the Italian firm designed a new concept for Glory Casa’s showrooms, a brand of made in Italy furnishing accessories. In New York, on the other hand, Vudafieri-Saverino Partners designed the first American flagship for Delvaux, a Belgian luxury leather goods brand.

6280.CH: a coworking space designed by Evolution Design
6280.CH is a 1000 sqm coworking space created by the Swiss architecture studio Evolution Design. Located in the village of Hochdorf, 6280.CH is housed in the former factory of the Swiss furniture maker, Novex. The conversion and transformation into a contemporary environment took into consideration the local context.

Lombardini22 and DEGW design NOW, Oliver Wyman’s new offices in Milan
DEGW, a brand of the Lombardini22 architecture and design Group, designed the project for global consulting firm Oliver Wyman's new offices in Milan. The new spaces offer an innovative work model called desk sharing, which leaves the usual fixed desk layout behind, allowing employees the flexibility of choosing a different workspace everyday.

Reinach Mendonça Arquitetos Associados designs office building overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio de Janeiro
Admiring the iconic view overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain, the famous mountain symbol of Rio de Janeiro, was the idea behind the interior project recently designed and completed by the Brazilian firm Reinach Mendonça Arquitetos Associados. The project focused on the restructuring and redevelopment of a business centre built in the 1970s, without particular architectural merits, in the Botafogo Beach district in the southern area of the city.

The Core: garage-to-office transformation for CBRE in Amsterdam
The international design firm CBRE has completed its headquarters in Amsterdam. Called The Core, the operation transformed an old multi-storey parking garage into their corporate offices. The intrinsically sustainable project won both the jury prize and the public prize in the Big Office category of the Frame Awards.

MoDusArchitects’ TreeHugger, a sculptural volume for the tourist information office in Bressanone
TreeHugger is a new building designed by MoDusArchitects for the tourist information office in Bressanone, in the province of Bolzano. The sculptural new volume designed by architects Sandy Attia and Matteo Scagnol was selected in an international design contest announced in 2016.

Studio Didea creates the interior design for two offices in Milan and Palermo
Two interior design projects were recently completed in Milan and Palermo by the Studio Didea architecture firm. The projects included the renovation of two apartments now used as offices. The first one, located in a modern building near Piazza del Duomo in Milan, was transformed into the headquarters of a financial consulting firm. The second is a typical residential apartment located in a building in Palermo built in the 1970s and now transformed by the architects into the Studio’s headquarters.

Studio Beretta Associati and Lombardini22 Office building: a story of urban regeneration
Beretta Associati planned the functional conversion of an office building in Milan, an early-twentieth-century building in a prime location between Piazzale Lodi and Via Sannio that originally housed the headquarters of a historic Italian mechanical company which has been repeatedly expanded and transformed over the years. The Lombardini22 Group supplied consulting services for the interior design and plant engineering in Beretta Associati’s recent project.
