nuEvo, Maxxi Museum, new eco friendly projects for ACTIVE
Pavilions, Offices, School, Apartment, Kindergartens, Departments, Ville, Sport & Wellness,
The prototype of the project presented by architect Pella, called nuEvo, will be built capitalizing on the anti-pollution and anti-bacterial qualities of Active Clean Air & Antibacterial CeramicTM porcelain slabs.
An almost inevitable liaison between the GranitiFiandre eco-active material and the experimental research considering the environment at 360°.
The floors will be paved with one of the novelties presented during the last Open Doors: Cenere belonging to the NaturaMaximum collection, in 240x24 cm and in 6 mm thickness, on the occasion in a special Active version.
The external façade will covered with Taxos Active in 120x60 cm by using a ventilated façade system: definitely one of the best solution suggested for a 100% sustainable project, thanks to the several advantages related to the saving of energy (and costs) linked to the summer cooling and the winter heating.
The participation of so many young designers shows the research of new channels of cooperation with building companies, boosting the growth of entrepreneurship in this industry whit a growing demand for quality architecture, respectful of landscape and energy consumption.
The winners will be awarded for the first time the sought-after quality label Eco Luoghi 2011 by the Ministry for the Environment, both to the project leader and businesses involved: a very distinguishing award synonymous with excellence in environmental sustainability for the 10 chosen companies around the country.
The prototypes realized in a 1:1 scale will be displayed in an exhibition which will be held in the months of june/september 2012 at the Maxxi Museum, which today represents one of the most important venues in the world. the open day has been scheduled for June 28th at the presence of the Ministry of the Environment Mr. Clini.
