Lebanese architect Bernard Khoury, founder of the Bernard Khoury / DW5 studio and of the ACA – Arab Centre for Architecture, takes part in the first stop in Milan of Migrant Garden - Untouchable Landscapes. This travelling exhibition opened on 15th October 2015 and will remain open until 20th November at SpazioFMGperl'Architettura, the Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti gallery and showroom.

Migrant Garden - Untouchable Landscapes is a non-profit project presented by seven young architects: Pierluigi Bardi, Stefano Madelli, Tommaso Maserati, Michel Molina, Claudia Saglimbeni, Filippo Sbalbi and Federico Zucchi that involved another 40 architects and designers from all over the world.
Many important names on the national and international architecture scene were invited to design a model house, a birdhouse, as an answer to the problem of the forced migration of birdsfrom the island of Pinedo, in the province of Piacenza. The theme offers a wider reflection on the theme of nomadism, interpreted in relation to the concept of dwelling.
The houses represent 40 different interpretations of the home and domestic sphere and are an invitation to investigate the theme of contemporary living to promote an architectural culture that is aware of the landscape and safeguarding the environment.
