Williamsburg by Hitzig Militello, hospitality in the time of COVID-19

Now that we all know that the pandemic is not going to disappear any time soon so we won’t be making a rapid return to our former habits, the Argentina-based architects Fernando Hitzig and Leonardo Militello from hitzigmilitello arquitectos, have completed the design for a restaurant that provides efficient and impressive responses to hospitality in the time of COVID-19.

With his installation “infrastructure-structure-architecture” Samuel Gonçalves from the Portuguese architecture studio, Summary took prefabricated elements of a real, existing project to the Arsenale of the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale: Gomos System. This year, he went a step further and completed the first apartment block that combines the advantages of prefabrication with eye-catching aesthetics.
