19 Projects by Neutelings Riedijk Architects exhibition
The exhibition "Behind the Curtains - 19 Projects of Neutelings Riedijk Architects" was presented at Passagen 2013 in Cologne and will travel to AIT ArchitekturSalon in Hamburg and Munich. The Dutch architects? projects are presented in a dark room in the form of models lit up from the inside and set on pedestals so that they will be at eye height for observers, allowing visitors to appreciate the "sculptural volumes" the architects have designed.
Architect Willem Jan Neutelings describes his projects as buildings born "naked" as sculptural volumes which are then dressed in a "skin" to give them a local identity and make them recognizable by society. The studio founded in Rotterdam in 1987 by architects Willem Jan Neutelings and Michiel Riedijk specialises in public sector projects such as theatres, concert halls, museums and libraries.

Neutelings Riedijk Architects projects featured in the exhibition include “Le Cinq” Office Tower in Paris, the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum, and MAS or Museum Aan de Stroom in Antwerp.
