Atelier Pierre Thibault designs contemporary house on Brome Lake
The relationship with the surrounding landscape, the vivid colours and the enchanting scenery on the shores of Brome Lake are the strengths of the residential project designed by the Atelier Pierre Thibault studio in the Eastern Townships administrative region in southeastern Quebec, in Canada. “La Résidence du Lac Brome ” is a contemporary home that allows its inhabitants to live in close contact with the natural environment. With its full-height transparent windows and very few opaque structural elements, it stands as a large covered terrace from which to enjoy wide panoramic views of the lake and of the surrounding mountainous landscape.

SOM Skidmore, Owings & Merrill - Manhattan West renovates Far West Side in New York
Manhattan West, a complex of six mixed-use buildings designed in large part by the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) studio and developed by Brookfield Properties was officially inaugurated on September 28. An adventure that originally began thirty years ago, the first development programme to transform the unused space located above the active railway lines, an essential point in the pedestrian paths that connect New York’s West Side, in fact goes back to 1990.

Atelier Barda Residence Alma Montréal
A discreet transformation is how Atelier Barda Architects define their project in Montreal’s Little Italy district, Canada. Three archetypal architectural design concepts, the loggia, courtyard and colonnade, inspired the transformation of this twentieth century brick building. Atelier Barda Architects designed the renovation and refurbishment of the existing ground floor commercial space in addition to the radical transformation of the upper floors’ interior design, to create a single-family residence with ample room for guests.

Moussafir Architectes & Nicolas Hugoo Architecture Mixed-use buildings in Paris
Block G, a recently completed mixed-use building designed by the Paris studios of Moussafir Architectes & Nicolas Hugoo Architecture, is part of a major urban regeneration plan known as Chapelle International, currently underway in the 18th arrondissement in northeast Paris. The new building contains a number of lodgings built on the basis of the innovative SOHO, or Small Office Home Office, concept.

Tchoban Voss Architekten Embassy living alongside Köllnischer Park, Berlin
