Alexander &CO., Glorietta bar and restaurant in Sydney
The design team from Australian studio Alexander &CO. has transformed a large, stark floor in a new tower in Sydney into a warm, welcoming restaurant with an Italian-inspired mood. Contemporary yet classic, Glorietta aims to be a venue where you come for a drink and stay for a meal, all within the building’s pre-established constraints.

A restaurant with exotic flair, Indochine at Ingolstadt Village
The German architecture studio of Jürgen Haller has designed the interior design of a restaurant in the Ingolstadt Village in Germany. The well-kept ambience, with an atmosphere inspired by the rich colours of Vietnam and the typical French influences of Indochina, reflects the culinary diversity of the restaurant, a real attraction in the region.

Lissoni Casal Ribeiro interior design of the Hotel Café Royal in London
In 2012, three historic buildings in the centre of London, between Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus, were converted into the new Hotel Café Royal in an important architectural project by David Chipperfield Architects in partnership with restoration studio Donald Insall Associates. Lissoni Casal Ribeiro’s project fits into this conversion project, renewing all the common areas in the hotel with elements of contemporary design while preserving the memory of the place.

Maurizio Lai - Light installations and geometries for a restaurant project
Architect Maurizio Lai designed a project characterised by light installations, colours and abstract geometries for an existing building. A basic container with no particular architectural qualities located in the province of Como. The carefully thought out light design, the artistic signs and the scenic effects used to redesign both the façade and the indoor spaces, give the restaurant a distinctive identity that differs from the typical appearance of standardised Asian restaurants.

London-based firm, Goddard Littlefair, has transformed the public areas of the Central Post and Telegraph Head Office, a listed, iconic building in Copenhagen, initially built in 1912. It is now known as Villa Copenhagen, and it has been converted into a standout landmark hotel.

Minéral, a new venue by Blanchette Architectes in Montreal
The Canadian firm Blanchette Architectes recently completed Minéral, the latest project from entrepreneurs and restaurateurs Mathieu Ménard and Steve Grenier, in the heart of Montreal’s Gay Village. A wine bar by day and a nightclub after sundown, this venue welcomes guests with a mood that plays with the use of light and simple materials.
