SAX Vintage Design Hotel
In the SAX Vintage Design Hotel in Prague, original items by such famous artists as Andy Warhol and Colani sit side by side with items of design.
The rooms have been decorated to plans by a number of Czech designers, each designed and furnished on the basis of its own individual theme and character.
For example, Jerry Koza of SAD design drew his inspiration from the 1968 film Barbarella for the design of one of the suites.
In the suite, a big wall of opaque glass separates the shower from the double bed, and all the objects and accessories, as well as the white floor and walls, recreate a modern space shuttle.
Accessories and items of design from the 60s and 70s were collected at auctions and decorate also the hotel?s common areas, such as the spa and the restaurant.
