Place Saint Sernin, reorganisation of public space in Toulouse
In Toulouse, the Place Saint Sernin reorganisation project by Barcelona-based BAU brings public space back into the historic centre of the French city. This intervention, begun in 2015 and completed in 2020, where cars give way to trees and benches, is among the finalists for the European Prize for Public Space 2022.

"Prossima Apertura", an urban regeneration project in Aprilia
Prossima Apertura is an urban regeneration project led by Orizzontale, NOEO and ADML Architetti, recently completed in Aprilia, in the Lazio region of central Italy. Through skills and strategies complementary to the architectural project, the multidisciplinary group experimented with a methodology that can be replicated and adapted in other places and contexts. The team was thus able to develop what can be considered the prototype of a new way of designing and understanding public space.

Moving Dunes, an installation by NÓS in Montreal
With Moving Dunes, the Canadian studio NÓS has designed an urban project in the centre of Montreal based on the concept of anamorphosis. This method revolves around a distorted projection requiring the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point, use special devices or both to view a recognizable image and here it animated their installation that they propose as an experiential mirage.

DAP studio, via Monviso Square Garden, Garbagnate
The recent urban regeneration project designed by the DAP studio transformed an abandoned area, on the outskirt of Milan's Garbagnate district, into a square-garden that has become a point of reference for an entire neighbourhood. Whatâ's more, the space became the protagonist of a short film selected among the 20 finalists of the first edition of the Venice Architecture Short Film Festival, an event organised by the ArchiTuned cultural association and dubbed "Living Together Again".
