The last day at the Italian Pavilion at the 2018 Biennale di Venezia Architecture Exhibition features round tables and book launches summing up the issues that have emerged in the course of the Italian pavilion’s “voyage” of exploration of the country’s interior.
At 15:30 on October 19th, the Italian Pavilion hosts a meeting between its curator Mario Cucinella MCA and architectural studios Batlle i Roig Arquitectes of Spain and Harari Landscape Architecture of Mexico. The round table promoted by the Iris Ceramica Group will focus on the theme of the 16th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia 2018 FREESPACE.
September 24 through 28 Bologna hosts Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings. Numerous international guests and related events will accompany the 36th edition of the fair, including Pollution, an Iris Ceramica Group initiative organised in partnership with architect Mario Cucinella.
In the seventies, Fondazione Iris drew the public’s attention to the issue of pollution with an unprecedented revolutionary artistic action under the name Pollution. 46 years later, architect Mario Cucinella and the young people from the SOS School of Sustainability are organising a new initiative, Pollution 2018, once again supported by the Iris Ceramica Group.
At the event titled Impressions of the 2018 Architecture Biennale held on 13 June 2018 in the iconic space of the Fiandre Architectural Bureau in the Sarotti-Höfe, Berlin, Mario Cucinella from MC A, Lars Krückeberg from GRAFT and Christine Edmaier, President of the Berlin Architects' Association discussed their national participations and FREESPACE in general.
