LUO Studio creates a recyclable exhibition space at PSA Shanghai

Chinese studio LUO used cardboard to create an exhibition space at Shanghai’s PSA Museum. The project seeks to prevent waste of materials during temporary exhibitions, in accordance with the golden rule of ecology: "reduce, reuse and recycle“, and installation itself forms an integral part of the exhibition.

Studio Zhu Pei: OCT Art Centre in Zibo, Shandong, China

Studio Zhu Pei designed the new OCT Art Centre in Zibo as a response to the natural setting of the region of Shandong, China. Concrete sails on stone walls cast randomly about as in a game of pick-up sticks create a dynamic space designed to house all forms of art.

The memory of the countryside as an attraction, Imprint by Hu Quanchun

Designer Hu Quanchun of Field Conforming Studio is the author of an unusual public artwork entitled Imprint. It depicts a section of a muddy country road complete with rural footprints. Made of Corten steel, he designed it for the first OCT Fab Public Art Festival, held in the Fab Town theme park in Xiangyang. Creating a strong contrast in the rarefied context, it is a work that astonishes visitors.

Designers from ARCHSTUDIO renovated the renowned PIFO GALLERY art gallery in Beijing. The space, which integrates the functions of art exhibition, reception and office, has been revisited from what was originally a "closed box". The Vanished House by Hu Quanchun

"The Vanished House" by Hu Quanchun of Field Confirming Studio is an artwork created for the second East Lake International Ecological Sculpture Biennale, held in Wuhan in 2021.
