Saved from demolition, the industrial complex, with its 27 buildings, has been recovered and transformed into structures with different functions, including a hotel and residences. Various Associates and a blue and white Art High School in Shenzhen
The Chinese architecture firm Various Associates was commissioned with the design of an Art High School in Shenzhen. The School is focused on international arts programmes, affiliated with the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA).
