Snøhetta Headquarters of Le Monde Group, Paris
Snøhetta designed the new central headquarters of the Le Monde group in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The recently completed complex brings together the French publishing group’s 1,600 employees under a single roof, which is semi-transparent to evoke newspaper typesetting with moveable type.

RAU Architects’s cathedral of wood for Triodos Bank in Driebergen-Rijsenburg
The new Triodos Bank building in Driebergen-Rijsenburg, in the Netherlands, designed by RAU Architects in partnership with Ex Interiors, has been described as a “cathedral of wood”: a sustainable building whose circular shape symbolises a dynamic balance between nature, culture and economics. This explicit reference to the circular economy and the core business of a bank committed to ethical finance characterises all aspects of the project, which uses natural, sustainable materials even in the furniture.

Superlimão designs the new Populos headquarters in São Paulo, complete with treehouse
In the quiet neighbourhood of Sumaré, in São Paulo, Brazil, Superlimão designed the new headquarters of Populos, Latin America’s leading provider of digital solutions and cloud computing infrastructure. The project represented an interesting challenge for the architects, who worked on architect Gui Mattos’s Módulo Bruxelas building to design personalised workspaces and transform the outdoor area to make it more useful to the company, even adding a treehouse.

David Chipperfield Architects’ conversion and recovery of a historic complex - Jacoby Studios in Paderborn
The Jacoby Studios complex in Paderborn, in western Germany, was originally a Capuchin monastery, built in the 17th century and converted into a hospital in 1841. David Chipperfield Architects Berlin have reclaimed the historic construction, eliminating the post-war changes and additions, and converted it to provide a new headquarters for the company Tap Holding. The project has been nominated for the 2021 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.
