Marcello Morandini Exhibition. Art, Architecture and Design.

100 works, from those created in the ‘60s to more recent ones, recount the artistic and design career of Marcello Morandini in the exhibition: Marcello Morandini. Arte architettura design (Art, Architecture and Design) currently on at the Galleria nazionale d’arte moderna e contemporanea in Rome.

Born in Mantua in 1940, and trained at the Brera Academy in Milan, Morandini produces works on various scales, from graphics to sculpture and from architecture to design. He employs a rigorous method to explore various themes and movements in space, like torsion, expansion and overlay. The starting point for his research is that everything that surrounds us can be seen as "liveable".
The exhibition is accompanied by acatalogue edited by Publi Paolini with texts by Maria Vittoria Marini Clarelli, Mariastella Margozzi and Marcello Morandini himself.
