A short distance from the old centre of Geneva, a sophisticated architectural casing characterises the new headquarters of the Société Privée de Gérance, designed by architect Giovanni Vaccarini. The Italian studio has converted a pre-existing building, extending it by two floors and giving it a new facade.
The new sophisticated façade system has greatly improved the building’s energy efficiency and notably lightened its volume, giving it a strong aesthetic appeal. Its completion saw the creation of a short film;Deep into the Surface” directed by Claudio Esposito and produced by The Piranesi Experience in partnership with The Architecture Player, with photography by Fabio Paolucci and original music by Populous.
Images and music highlight the quality of the architectural solution designed by Giovanni Vaccarini Architetti and its technical details. The short film is an excellent way of recounting the dynamic nature that the façade gives the building, with its variations according to light and weather conditions. The design recently won the l'Architizer A+Awards in the category: Commercial-Office - Mid Rise (5-15 Floors), and the awards ceremony will take place in New York on 11th May 2017.
