China Awards assigned to Iris and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti

Graziano Verdi, President and CEO of Iris and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, has been presented with the “Creatori di Valore” (Value Creators) award for the two companies’ work in China.

The China Awards are promoted by Fondazione Italia Cina and MF Milano Finanza and presented to Italian companies which have achieved outstanding results on the Chinese market and, vice versa, to Chinese companies for their achievements in Italy.

Production of porcelain floor and wall tiles which is responsive to the market’s demands and highly innovative, such as Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic^TM materials (produced by an eco-active method which allows ceramic materials to perform an effective anti-pollutant and bactericidal action) and Maxfine (at 300x150 cm, the biggest porcelain tiles ever made). It is in this pioneering spirit that Iris and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti opened their Hong Kong showroom in spring 2012.

A tangible sign of the company's intention of exporting not only porcelain tiles but "the know-how that distinguishes our work: our research in the areas of style and technology, our focus on the environment, a tradition of craftsmanship and an ethical employment relationship" as underlined by Graziano Verdi in his acceptance speech.
