Virtual visit of the "Zaha Hadid Architects: Vertical Urbanism" exhibition at the HKDI Gallery in Hong Kong

Until April 3, 2022 it is possible to visit the "Zaha Hadid Architects: Vertical Urbanism" exhibition online, at the HKDI Gallery in Hong Kong. The initiative is part of the popular digital exhibition programme dedicated to contemporary design undertaken by the gallery, enabling a wider audience to discover the innovative projects created by the Zaha Hadid Architects studio, narrated through technical drawings, models, videos and virtual reality experiences.

CTBUH names Urban Habitat Award Excellence Projects

In preparation for the 2021 edition of the Tall + Urban Innovation Conference, set to take place online on May 18 to 20 of this year, the CTBUH (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat) revealed the winning “excellence” projects in various categories of its prestigious awards. After the buildings have been categorised according to height, the new excellence winners are skyscrapers selected for the technological and construction aspects adopted, for their intended use or for the Urban Habitat category.

Zaha Hadid Architects designs a Student Residence at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Architecture firm Zaha Hadid Architects, in collaboration with Leigh & Orange Limited, designed the new Student Residence for the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The complex will house over 1,500 students and will become an example of the combination between advanced digital design, sustainable construction techniques and long-term operational strategies. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.
