Merkurhuset in Gothenburg by the OLSSON LYCKEFORS studio, between present and past

The Merkurhuset project designed by the Swedish Olsson Lyckefors studio not only takes its name from one of the most iconic buildings in Sweden's second largest city, but also enters into dialogue with the protected historical pre-existing architecture. An 8,000 square metre building is born that fits harmoniously into the urban context, without losing its identity.

Ivrea reopens its doors: Welc-Home to my House 2023

Once again this year, Ivrea - the industrial city of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site - opens its doors for visitors to marvel at Olivetti’s architecture, with involvement from local citizens and a media partnership with Floornature. There are two weekends available - 23/24 September and 30 September/1 October - as well as days dedicated to photography and architecture on 22 and 30 September respectively.

Restoration of the Tomáš Baťa Memorial in Zlín

The Czech firm TRANSAT architekti is behind the reclamation and restoration of a 1933 constructivist building in Zlín, designed by the architect František Lýdie Gahura in honour of Tomáš Baťa. Tomáš Baťa was the founder of the Bata shoe company, an illuminated businessman who also focused on the social and architecture areas, a bit like Adriano Olivetti in Italy.

A new convention centre at the Zhejiang Geospatial Information Industrial Park, Deqing

The Architectural Design and Research Institute of Zhejiang University (UAD), China, directed by the architects Zhenling Wu and Bing Chen, designed the permanent site for the United Nations Geospatial Information Management Forum in Deqing County, as part of the Geospatial Information Industrial Park.
