MACA CAMPUS 2016, a cultural project Fashion, Art, Cuisine, Architecture - these are the ingredients used to create MACA CAMPUS 2016, a major cultural project centred on the Mediterranean, with two regions of excellence for their production in these fields - Sicily and Catalonia.

MACA CAMPUS 2016 is structured as a touring exhibition; it will travel to four Sicilian towns in Summer (Marsala, Sciacca, Ragusa and Milazzo), to Barcelona (Spain) in Autumn and it will end at the Fuorisalone 2017 in Milan.

The purpose of the project is to raise public awareness of the themes and the quality of architecture, art, fashion and cuisine and to bring together the excellences of two highly creative territories: Sicily and Catalonia.
The whole thing is a shared journey that aims to be a challenge, since the organisers intend to communicate beauty through actual life, and in the disciplines that are intrinsically aimed at embellishing our existence.

If you love architecture, this is a perfect opportunity to see the leading players in Catalan and Sicilian architecture in face-to-face exhibitions, installations, conferences and workshops. The workshop will be held in collaboration with tutors and Sicilian architecture firms and will target architecture and engineering students and graduates.

MACA CAMPUS 2016 is a concept of the not-for-profit cultural and social MACA association, which is also promoting it. The association focuses on promoting, disseminating and driving Art in all its forms, and it was founded by Roberta Melasecca, ComunicaDesidera and Mario Cottone + Gregorio Indelicato, Cottone+Indelicato Architetti.
