Architecture for education: university campuses - the best of the week

For our usual weekly appointment with “best of week” with the most interesting designs published in Floornature, this week we invite you to rediscover the best architectural designs for education: universities and campuses designed by leading architecture studios all over the world.

We start our list with some recent projects, chosen among the finalists of the Riba Stirling Prize 2015, like the design by the Heneghan Peng Architects studio for the University of Greenwich Stockwell Street Building in London and Muma for The Whitworth University of Manchester.

We continue with some recently completed projects like: the Investcorp Building, the Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College Oxford University, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the Singapore University of Technology & Design designed by UNStudio and DP Architects that also has a dedicated post in Livegreenblog, the newArts Building of the University of Iowa designed by architect Steven Holl and the Helsinki University Main Library (Kaisa house), the largest university library in Finland, designed by Anttinen Oiva Architects.
