Zaha Hadid Architects new metro stations in Dnipro

Teatralna, Tsentalna and Muzeina are three new metro stations in Dnipro designed by Zaha Hadid Architects which will connect the eastern districts with the centre of the Ukrainian city and with Dnipro-Holovnyi railway station, the city’s main railway terminus. Construction has just begun and is due to be completed by 2025.

ZHA Close Up – Work & Research exhibition at MAM Shanghai

"ZHA Close Up – Work & Research” is the title of the exhibition running until 29 August at MAM Shanghai, which provides China’s first major retrospective of the projects of the Zaha Hadid Architects firm from 1982 onwards. It provides a detailed, precise survey of works of architecture ranging from the MAXXI in Rome (2010) to the Leeza SOHO in Beijing (2019), through to the latest, most innovative projects the firm is undertaking in various parts of the world.

Striatus - an arched 3D-concrete-printed bridge in Venice

On the occasion of the Venice Architecture Biennale, an arched bridge printed in 3D concrete – the first of its kind – was installed and inaugurated at the Giardini della Marinaressa, in Venice. The project was developed by ETH Zürich's Block Research Group in collaboration with the Zaha Hadid Architects Computation and Design Group (ZHACODE), division of the architecture firm with the same name, and with Incremental3D (in3D). Moreover, the project and was made possible thanks to the two-component concrete developed by Holcim.

"Spot On - Women Designers in the Collection" exhibition and Nathalie Du Pasquier at the Vitra 

New works in a feminine key at the Campus Vitra in Weil am Rhein, in Germany. A new work by artist and designer Nathalie Du Pasquier has been installed near the Fire Station designed by Zaha Hadid and, to celebrate the five year anniversary of its inauguration, the Vitra Schaudepot, the building designed by the Herzog & De Meuron studio, is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the role of women in the world of furniture design.

Work is underway on Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Art Centre in China, the new centre for contemporary creativity designed by Zaha Hadid Architects for one of the world’s most dynamic regions. Winners of the 2021 CTBUH Best Tall Building Awards

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat recently announced the annual Best Tall Building Award of Excellence Winners in a number of categories. Koichi Takada Architects’ Arc in Sydney, Sou Fujimoto, Nicolas Laisné and Oxo Architects’ White Tree in Montpellier, France, Heatherwick Studiop’s Eden in Singapore, Studio Gang’s MIRA Tower in San Francisco, WOHA’s Sky Green in Taichung, Taiwan, Zaha Hadid Architects Leeza SOHO in Beijing and One Thousand Museum in Miami, and Safdie Architects’ Raffles City Chongqing in the Chinese city of the same name are only a few of the skyscrapers selected by CTBUH that have been described in Floornature.
