MVRDV designs Idea Factory, a creative recovery of an industrial building in Shenzhen, China
In the Shenzhen area, in China, the MVRDV architecture firm recently recovered a disused industrial building, transforming it into a "creative factory". The building houses the offices of the Urban Research Institute of China Vanke, as well as other offices for rent. The roof consists of a large green terrace, becoming a public garden that offers various services and activities.

Floating melodies: the CROX’s Liyang Museum
In the city of Liyang, in eastern China, architecture and landscape design studio CROX has completed an impressive public building: Liyang Museum, the city’s new key landmark, not so much for its 12,000 metres of floor space as for its unique futuristic shape, designed specifically for the volume containing the museum.
