Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos designs Cité du Théâtre in Paris

The project designed by the Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos and Marin + Trottin Architectes architecture studios was named as the winner of the competition for the construction of "La Cité du Théâtre". One of the most important projects of the Grand Paris initiative, the Cité will be set in the Ateliers Berthier built in 1895 by Charles Garnier, the famous architect of the Paris Opera. The project will bring together three famous French institutions from the world of culture: the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique (CNSAD), the Théâtre National de l'Odéon - Théâtre de l'Europe and the Comédie-Française.

Dal Pian Arquitetos Módulo Rebouças Building – Nubank Headquarters São Paolo Brazil

Dal Pian Arquitetos have designed a building containing a landscape: the Módulo Rebouças Building, headquarters of Nubank, in São Paulo, Brazil. The architects designed a near-perfect cube, emptying it out and opening it up at a number of points to create ever-changing, “amusing” perspectives and internal views. The building contains offices, a ground-floor theatre and a basement garage.

Christian de Portzamparc wins the Praemium Imperiale for Architecture

The awards ceremony for the thirtieth edition of the prize considered the Nobel Prize of the arts, the Praemium Imperiale awarded by the Japan Art Association, was held recently. The winner in the architecture category is French architect Christian de Portzamparc, while the award for music went to famous Italian orchestra conductor Riccardo Muti.

O&O Baukunst Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, Berlin
