MAD Architects Yabuli Entrepreneurs’ Congress Centre

The congress centre designed by MAD Architects for the Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum is now complete. On November 18 through 20, 2020, the new facility housed its inaugural event, the annual Yabuli CEF, one of China’s most influential business organizations. More than 600 entrepreneurs attended the event in the futuristic new congress centre surrounded by the snow-capped mountains of northeast China.

Bruther wins the 2020 Swiss Architectural Award

The studio Bruther, founded by architects Stéphanie Bru and Alexandre Thériot, has won the 2020 Swiss Architectural Award. The candidates for the seventh edition of the award are nominated by a committee of internationally prominent architects and critics. The jury, chaired by architect Mario Botta, selected Bruther on the basis of three projects: the Saint-Blaise Cultural and Sports Centre in Paris (2010-2014), the New Generation Research Centre in Caen (2013-2015), and “Maison Julie-Victoire Daubié” Residence for Researchers in Paris (2014-2018).

CROX has completed work on the Chengdu Science and Technology Industry Incubation Park. The Chinese architectural studio’s White Building is a symbolic sculptural construction, a memorable landmark marking the gateway to the Park. The architects also completely redesigned all the spaces outside the buildings, making them greener, more natural and accommodating.
