Fifty years of total design and architecture in the work of CPKA
CPKA is the first Indian architectural studio ever to be invited to the London Festival of Architecture, which this year appointed the studio’s founder, Dikshu Kukreja, to curate an exhibition of works produced by CPKA in over fifty years in business. The result is an interesting overview of the history of contemporary architecture and total design in India.

The finalists for the 2022 RIBA Stirling Prize

Barozzi Veiga: Artists’ Ateliers in London’s Design District
In the middle of an urban regeneration plan in the new Design District on London’s Greenwich peninsula, Barozzi Veiga has designed Artists’ Ateliers made up of two opposite but related volumes. The two volumes allude to the area’s industrial history and come up with a new version of the archetype of the creative studio.

Black Chapel by Theaster Gates is the Serpentine Pavilion 2022
From June 10, the summer programme of the Serpentine Galleries in London kicks off, with the opening to the public of Black Chapel, the 21st Serpentine Pavilion. The project is the work of Chicago-based artist Theaster Gates, with the support of Adjaye Associates for the architectural part and Goldman Sachs for the financial support. The temporary structure will be used as a space for gathering, meditation and participation, as well as hosting some of the summer events of the London gallery's live programme.

An end-of-terrace located at the head of the row, it offers a generous space both for its inhabitants and for the wider neighbourhood.

Art in ceramics and on ceramics - performance painting by Camilla Falsini
As part of Clerkenwell Design Week in London, the Iris Ceramica Group is promoting a performance painting by street artist Camilla Falsini curated by Yourban2030 at its London flagship store. The artist was invited to create a work of art on ceramic inspired by the works of the Memphis Movement, displayed in the showroom for the exhibition "Ceramics: Neverending Artworks".

Ceramics: Neverending Artworks exhibition at Clerkenwell Design Week
During Clerkenwell Design Week, the Iris Ceramica Group’s London flagship store presents Ceramics: Neverending Artworks, an exhibition produced in collaboration with Antonia Jannone - Disegni di Architettura accompanied by a live performance by street artist Camilla Falsini. In the wake of its great success in Milan, the exhibition of more than 20 iconic ceramic artworks by 11 world-famous designers will be on view until 3 June in Clerkenwell, in the heart of London’s design district.

UNStudio and Ben van Berkel, guests of The Architects Series
International architectural studio UNStudio will be featured in the twenty-third episode of The Architects Series, the exhibition format presented by The Plan magazine for the Iris Ceramica Group. With prior registration on the Group’s digital platform, viewers will be able to watch the docufilm produced in UNStudio’s offices followed by a lecture by architect Ben van Berkel, Founder and Principal of UNStudio and Founder of UNSense, live streamed from Iris Ceramica Group’s London flagship store.
