The Horror Show! at London’s Somerset House explores fifty years of creative rebellion
October 27 sees the opening of a “scary” exhibition at London’s Somerset House: The Horror Show! A Twisted Tale of Modern Britain. The exhibition, curated by Iain Forsyth, Jane Pollard and Claire Catterall, explores how ideas rooted in horror have informed the last fifty years of creative rebellion in Britain, with a long list of participating artists and more than 200 works on display. Three keywords break down the exhibition into three acts, each interpreting a specific era between the 1970s and the present through the lens of classic horror archetypes, the Monster, the Ghost and the Witch.

Surrealism and design on display at London's Design Museum
The Design Museum in London is hosting an exhibition staged by the Vitra Design Museum that brings to visitors' attention the impact of Surrealism on design, with works and objects by, among others, Man Ray, Salvador Dalí, Marcel Duchamp and Leonora Carrington. "Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design 1924 - Today" will open on October 14 and run until February 19, 2023.

Foster + Partners new Apple store in London
The new Apple Store was recently opened on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, the famous London neighbourhood that includes the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as the two department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols. The project, designed in collaboration with the Foster + Partners architecture studio and the Apple Design Team, aims to offer visitors an oasis of tranquillity and calm in this hectic and bustling area of the city.

Upside Down House UK upside down experience
