From Triennale di Milano to the London Design Museum, from the Prado in Madrid to the Uffizi in Florence, from the Louvre in Paris to the Vatican Museums and the Guggenheim Museum on the other side of the ocean: these are only a few of the museums that have closed their doors physically but can now be toured via the new media.

Counterspace to design the Serpentine Pavilion 2020
The firm that will design the new Serpentine Pavilion, the temporary structure that every year hosts the summer programming of the Serpentine Galleries in London's Kensington Gardens, was announced on February 10. The firm selected is the Counterspace architecture studio based in Johannesburg (South Africa), led by architects Sumayya Vally, Sarah de Villiers and Amina Kaskar and, as per tradition, the pavilion will be their first work in the United Kingdom.

The Arches Project, reclaiming abandoned spaces in London
The London-based architectural firm, founded by Tomaso Boano and Jonas Prišmontas together with Meanwhile Space CIC, the pioneering social enterprise at the forefront of bringing temporarily redundant space into productive use worked in partnership with the GLA, Lambeth Council and Network Rail (now Arch Company) to deliver a design-led strategy aiming to provide business incubation opportunities.

Iris Ceramica Group and SOS - School of Sustainability present Going Around in Circles
The Iris Ceramica Group’s London showroom hosted the first of a new series of events all over the world focusing on the Circular Economy, organised by the Italian group of companies in partnership with SOS - School of Sustainability, founded by Mario Cucinella. The round table entitled "Going Around in Circles: Disruption, Recycling and Sustainability" saw the participation of Annabel Koeck, Clare Brass, Mario Cucinella and Michael Braungart, moderated by Paul Finch, director of the WAF World Architecture Festival.

Mizzi Studio The Serpentine Coffee House London
In London, in the heart of Hyde Park, the Serpentine Coffee House, a sculptural café designed by Mizzi Studio, has been completed and officially opened. With its undulating roof resembling a stingray, this small pavilion is set to become one of the park’s major landmarks, as seen in the photo shoot by Luke Hayes.
