Shaping the Future Iris Ceramica Group at Cersaie

The countdown is on. From September 26 to 30 in Bologna, the trade fair district will host the 2022 edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings. The Iris Ceramica Group will participate in the international event dedicated to architectural surfaces with a multi-site event that starts from the Company’s presence at the fair, with the Group's stand, and extends to the showrooms of the individual brands, united by the common theme of "SHAPING THE FUTURE - the new dawn of ceramics".

Superfici d'autore and Corpi di luce on exhibition at MIC in Faenza

In "Corpi di Luce", photography and film join forces to present the Luce collection created by the Iris Ceramica Group with stylist and designer Guillermo Mariotto: an original concept combining the idioms of architecture and art which the Iris Ceramica Group has chosen for its participation in Superfici d'autore 2022, an exhibition at MIC International Ceramics Museum in Faenza drawing public attention to the research and excellence of a number of Italian companies in partnership with designers from all over the world.

Iris Ceramica Group Foundation and the bioregeneration of the ceramic district

As part of the Iris Ceramica Group's sustainable development strategies, its Foundation promotes and supports the Post Carbon Architecture master's degree, led by SOS - School of Sustainability founded by Mario Cucinella Architects. This also includes studying urban bio-regeneration projects based on climate data and future scenarios. And it starts from the ceramic district, intending to become a best practice for other districts.

Only one month left to participate in the International Art Prize dedicated to Ceramics

The deadline to register for the first edition of the International Art Prize dedicated to ceramic production sponsored by the Iris Ceramica Group Foundation is nearing. Contestants – divided into two sections, under and over 25 years old – can register and submit their works to participate in the prize contest by September 30.

Looking forward to the new edition of The Architecture Drawing Prize

The sixth edition of The Architecture Drawing Prize, which this year is sponsored by Iris Ceramica Group with Floornature as European media partner, was presented a few weeks ago. Until 9 September applicants can register to take part in the award that celebrates art and mastery in the representation of architecture. The overall winner of the previous edition was Dafni Filippa's 'Flood Responsive Landscape Performance', a hybrid design combining different rendering techniques.
