Guillermo Mariotto on the Luce collection: ‘I’ve used ceramic to fill my house with light’

A multitalented creative, designer and stylist, Mariotto has turned his penchant for elegance towards ceramic design: Luce is his collection of large porcelain slabs for Iris Ceramica Group which exudes all the sinuosity and movement of silk. Ceramics: Neverending Artworks exhibition at Clerkenwell Design Week

During Clerkenwell Design Week, the Iris Ceramica Group’s London flagship store presents Ceramics: Neverending Artworks, an exhibition produced in collaboration with Antonia Jannone - Disegni di Architettura accompanied by a live performance by street artist Camilla Falsini. In the wake of its great success in Milan, the exhibition of more than 20 iconic ceramic artworks by 11 world-famous designers will be on view until 3 June in Clerkenwell, in the heart of London’s design district.

UNStudio and Ben van Berkel, guests of The Architects Series

International architectural studio UNStudio will be featured in the twenty-third episode of The Architects Series, the exhibition format presented by The Plan magazine for the Iris Ceramica Group. Mecanoo Heungkuk Tower Busan

Mecanoo and Francine Houben, the studio’s creative director and founding partner, appear in the twenty-second episode of The Architects Series, the exhibition format presented by THE PLAN magazine for the Iris Ceramica Group. In the video “The Architects Series – A documentary on: Mecanoo” and lecture by architect Francine Houben, webinar participants will discover the international architectural studio’s works and approach to design, the modus operandi they applied to Heungkuk Tower, one of the studio’s most recent projects, in Busan, South Korea.
